Jagannath temples in india

There are innumerable temples of Jagannath across India, but here are some of the most iconic ones:

Shree Jagannatha Temple Puri, Odisha: This is India's most celebrated and revered Jagannath temple. It is a 1161-year-old temple enshrining three deities: Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra. This temple is particularly known for the annual Rath Yatra festival wherein the deities are taken out of the temple on three gigantic chariots and paraded through the streets of Puri.
Jagannath Temple in Chennai, Tamil Nadu: This is another similar version of the Puri temple and also holds a Rath Yatra festival every year.
Jagannath Mandir in Ranchi, Jharkhand: It is constructed over a hill from where excellent views of the entire city can be taken. Every year, the festival of Rath Yatra is conducted here.
Shri Jagannath Mandir, Tyagraj Nagar in Delhi: It is a modern structure having three white domes. The temple is famous for large and colorful deities and its annual Rath Yatra festival.
Shri Jagannatha Swami Temple in Hyderabad, Telangana: This is a very new temple but already a popular one among devotees. It is famous for beautiful architecture and its annual Rath Yatra festival.
